Job summary

Amazon is hiring an ASIC DFT Design Engineer to define state-of-the-art DFT architectures for advanced technology nodes and collaborate with PD and design teams. You will implement efficient DFT solutions, perform RTL coding in Verilog/SystemVerilog, and drive high coverage test patterns for silicon defects across AWS Inferentia and Trainium systems.

The role requires a 5+ year track record in DFT for complex SoCs, strong automation scripting skills, and a Bachelor’s in Electrical/Communications

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical or Communications Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of practical DFT experience with complex SoC designs.
• Experience with ATPG, JTAG, MBIST and test quality trade-offs.
• Automation script development experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and develop state-of-the-art DFT architectures for advanced technology nodes.
• Work closely with block designers and PD team to implement efficient DFT solutions.
• Perform RTL coding and Verification using Verilog/SystemVerilog.
• Utilize DFT tools to create high coverage test patterns for silicon defects.
• Participate in Silicon debug efforts alongside ATE and System teams.
• Communicate with team members across multiple disciplines.
