Job summary

Amazon is seeking a DFT Design Engineer to advance Design for Test architectures for AWS Silicon. You will collaborate with block designers and PD teams to implement efficient DFT, perform RTL coding and verification, and drive high-coverage test patterns across cutting-edge nodes.

The role requires 5+ years in DFT on complex SoCs, scripting in common languages, and strong collaboration across teams in a high-scale data-center environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Communications Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of practical DFT experience with complex SoCs in advanced tech nodes.
• Experience with ATPG, JTAG, MBIST and test-time trade-offs.
• Automation scripting experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and develop state-of-the-art Design for Test (DFT) architectures for advanced technology nodes.
• Work closely with block designers and physical design (PD) teams to implement DFT solutions.
• Perform RTL coding and Verification using Verilog/System Verilog.
• Utilize industry standard DFT tools to create high coverage and cost-effective test patterns.
• Participate in Silicon debug with ATE and System teams.
• Communicate and collaborate across disciplines.
