AMD is seeking an experienced DFT/ATPG Design and Test Engineer to support the development and manufacturing readiness of next‑generation CPU cores and caches. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• Experience with design-for-test methodologies, especially scan test and ATPG.
• Strong collaboration across design, physical design, and product test teams.

Responsibilities

• Own generation, validation, and delivery of scan test patterns for CPU cores and caches.
• Partner with product test teams during bring-up and troubleshoot pattern, model, and netlist issues.
• Improve scan architecture, coverage, and test models for better product quality.
• Perform ATPG pattern and gate-level netlist analysis to resolve testability issues.
• Collaborate with physical design engineers to support design closure through timing and power analysis.
• Address DFT requirements for high-frequency CPU designs with minimal performance impact.
• Resolve complex interactions between IP and SoC design environments across global teams.
• Develop improvements to simplify design complexity and strengthen engineering quality.
