Job summary

Quantum Systems seeks an DFR Application Engineer to support North America within the Commercial Sales Team. You will serve as a trusted technical advisor, delivering demonstrations, workshops and proof-of-concept activities to showcase Drone First Responder solutions like DronePort and Twister.

This role requires extensive travel across the United States and Canada, FAA Part 107, BVLOS knowledge, and close collaboration with product, engineering and sales teams to translate customer needs into

Qualifications

Several years of experience in application engineering, sales engineering or similar customer-facing technical roles.
Experience in UAV/UAS, public safety, defence, robotics, aerospace or related tech areas is highly desirable.
Strong ability to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional software/hardware teams and using Confluence/Jira.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary technical expert for our DFR solutions portfolio across North America.
Collaborate with public safety agencies, first responders, and channel partners to translate requirements into solutions.
Conduct product demonstrations, workshops, proof-of-concept activities, and flight testing.
Define product requirements with Product Management and Engineering to shape the roadmap.
Train and enable reseller and integration partners to deploy Quantum Systems solutions.
Support FAA-related concepts, BVLOS operations, waivers, and Part 108 requirements.
