Job summary

Supermicro, a leading provider of server, storage, and networking solutions, seeks an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to drive DFMA during EVT/DVT and optimize mass production readiness for next-generation servers.

You will lead DFMA reviews, perform teardown and analysis, own root-cause for assembly defects using 8D, manage data in MRP/BOM/ECO systems, and collaborate with Thermal R&D, Quality, and Suppliers to ensure a smooth product transfer.

Qualifications

Education: BS/MS in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or related STEM field.
2–4 years of hands-on server manufacturing experience in system integration or rack-level assembly.
Proven DFMA leadership and expertise in EVT/DVT phases.

Responsibilities

Lead EVT/DVT DFMA reviews to optimize server chassis and rack routing.
Perform teardown, analysis, and design improvements for mass production readiness.
Drive root-cause analysis for assembly defects and apply 8D methodology.
Navigate MRP, BOM, and ECO systems to extract specs and records.
Publish formal DFMA reports and collaborate with QA, Thermal R&D, and suppliers.
