Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or related technical field (8 years experience) OR Master’s (6 years) OR PhD (4 years) with matching experience.
• Active US Government Secret Clearance required.
• Ability to obtain SAP access prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Lead a functional group of 5-8 electromechanical engineers, including performance management and development.
• Foster collaboration and timely information flow within the team.
• Identify material development opportunities to support new hardware designs.
• Develop proposals and manage schedules and budgets for proprietary materials.
• Ensure team adherence to internal and industry processes and guidelines.
• Drive department initiatives including process improvements and talent recruitment.
