Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks a Design for Manufacturing and Product Integrity Manager 2 in Linthicum, MD. You will lead a mid-size engineering team, drive manufacturability improvements, and advance material development for aerospace hardware.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years of experience, Master’s with 6, or Ph.D. with 4 years in STEM fields.
• Proficiency in GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and engineering drawing practices.
• Experience leading an engineering team in aerospace/defense is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a functional group of 5–8 electromechanical engineers and manage performance.
• Develop material development proposals, plans, and budgets for proprietary materials.
• Collaborate across departments to improve manufacturability, cost, and schedule.
