Job summary

Pure Storage, Inc. seeks a leader to drive the Direct Flash Module (DFM) firmware roadmap and execution for DirectFlash SSD Modules. You will own the strategy, deliver high-performance firmware, and collaborate with Hardware, Purity Software, and NAND Engineering teams.

You will guide end-to-end delivery, own PCIe bring-up and integration, and mentor engineers in an Agile environment to maintain leadership in enterprise storage.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of embedded software or firmware teams.
• Hands-on experience with C/C++ in embedded systems.
• Strong knowledge of storage interfaces and NAND flash.
• Experience delivering firmware using Agile/Scrum.
• Excellent cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the DFM firmware strategy for DirectFlash SSD Modules.
• Lead design and delivery of high-performance firmware with emphasis on PCIe functionality and NAND management.
• Drive end-to-end project delivery for PCIe- and NAND-related firmware features.
• Own PCIe bring-up and integration for new hardware, ensuring PCIe compliance and robust features.
• Provide technical leadership in system-level debug across firmware, drivers, and hardware.
• Cultivate a high-performance engineering team, mentoring firmware engineers and practicing Agile.
