Job summary

The role requires 12+ years in software/firmware with 7+ years in leadership, deep embedded knowledge, and strong Agile practices to foster innovation and delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 12+ years of relevant experience with 7+ years in firmware or software team leadership.
• Strong background in embedded firmware or low-level software development.
• Experience with agile firmware or software development methodologies.
• Hands-on knowledge of PCIe and NVMe technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the firmware engineering team responsible for the FlashTec product line.
• Drive end-to-end firmware development activities including architecture, design, implementation, integration, validation, and release.
• Establish project priorities, schedules, and resource plans to meet product milestones.
• Collaborate with hardware, ASIC, validation, systems, product management, and customer engineering teams.
• Mentor and develop engineering managers and ICs, supporting career growth and technical excellence.
• Monitor project execution, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies for delivery.
• Support debugging and resolution of complex firmware and system-level issues.
• Contribute to long-term technology planning and roadmap development for storage firmware solutions.
