Job summary

Distalmotion is seeking a high-performing Area Sales Manager to drive adoption of the DEXTER robotic surgical system across a defined U.S. territory (North CA, Portland, OR).

You will build strategic relationships with surgeons, administrators, and care networks, and lead a full sales cycle in ASCs, hospitals, IDNs, and academic centers. The role requires 7+ years of medical device sales success, experience selling capital equipment or robotics, and an entrepreneurial mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience selling capital equipment or robotic platforms is highly preferred.
• Proven success navigating multi-stakeholder healthcare sales environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory business plan to meet sales targets.
• Identify and advance opportunities within ASCs, hospitals, IDNs, and academic centers.
• Build relationships with surgeons, administrators, and executives.
• Lead full sales cycle: prospecting, demos, proposals, negotiations, closing.
• Deliver compelling presentations showing clinical and economic value.
• Maintain CRM pipeline and coordinate with clinical and marketing teams.
