Job summary

The Support team at United States Digital Space LLC is distributed globally and embedded with Engineering to tackle tricky edge cases in complex environments. You’ll diagnose issues, write bug reports, and sometimes dive into our codebase to help fix customer problems.

You'll contribute to documentation, help build efficient support processes, and collaborate with Product, Development, and Customer Success to improve the user experience for both Self-managed and SaaS deployments.

Qualifications

• Experience managing customer-facing cases through the full support lifecycle from first inquiry to resolution.
• Excellent Linux systems administration knowledge (LFCE or RHCE level).
• Ability to use scripting languages (Ruby/Bash) and MVC frameworks (Ruby on Rails).
• Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to write clear, helpful support content.
• Capability to explain complex technical topics to varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Support a mix of Self-managed and the company.com (SaaS) customers via Zendesk tickets, merge requests, email, and video conferencing.
• Collaborate with Product, Development, Infrastructure, Customer Success and Sales to shape product goals and roadmap.
• Create and update documentation based on customer interactions.
• Collaborate with Support team and other company teams to improve processes.
• Participate in regular on-call rotations for weekday and weekend coverage.
• Participate in hiring by reviewing applications and participating in interviews.
