Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Software Engineer - DevSecOps to help stand up a large-scale software factory and automate CI/CD pipelines. This on-site role is based in San Diego, CA or El Segundo, CA, with up to 25% travel and no remote work.

You will work with agile teams, SDLC processes, and embedded software development in a fast-paced environment. A TS clearance is required or obtainable, with SAP/PAR prerequisites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline and 2 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master's degree in a STEM discipline and entry level related engineering experience.
• Experience with the full SW Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience with Agile SW development, embedded system programming, SW integration and testing.
• Experience with the following programming and scripting languages: C, C++, and Python.
• Experience with two of the following tools: Jira, GitLab, Docker, Fortify, Coverity, or Black Duck.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance (with a background investigation within the past 5 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
• Ability to obtain and maintain initial Special Program Access (SAP/PAR). This SAP/PAR must be obtained within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

• Standup of large scale software factory used by software teams
• Integrate and automate systems to facilitate continuous build, continuous integration, continuous test, and continuous deployment pipeline
• Strong communication skills is a must to work with Software IPT, chief engineers, and development team
• The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative/team settings across all levels.
