Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. (AU) in San Diego seeks a systems engineering professional for full-time, on-site work with Top Secret clearance and 25% travel. The role focuses on system definitions, requirements, and verification across multiple IPTs.

The position requires a STEM degree and active clearance. Relocation assistance may be available. You will support integration testing and milestone reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR) across complex hardware and software subsystems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM field with 5 years of relevant military/professional experience, or Master’s in STEM with 3 years, or PhD with 1 year.
• Active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance or higher (with CI or Continuous Evaluation).
• Ability to obtain and maintain SAP clearance within business needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform system definition activities for features and DRs, defining use cases, requirements, and feature acceptance criteria.
• Support cross-IPT development of system and segment level requirements and use cases.
• Implement verification methodology and traceability.
• Develop interface definitions and integration plans.
• Conduct formal integration and system-level testing of fully integrated subsystems.
