Job summary

KBR seeks a DecSecOps Engineer to weave security into every stage of software delivery. You will help build secure CI/CD pipelines, apply code-quality checks, and implement cloud-based hardening across hybrid environments.

This role partners with development, infrastructure, and cybersecurity teams to advance platform modernization, automation, and policy-as-code practices, while supporting government and commercial missions worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in DevOps/DevSecOps or related fields.
• Experience with CI/CD platforms and cloud/container environments.
• Collaboration across development, infrastructure, and security teams.

Responsibilities

• Support secure CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
• Integrate security controls, vulnerability scanning, and code quality checks.
• Configure and support DevSecOps tools and platforms.
• Collaborate with teams to identify and remediate security issues.
• Assist with repository migrations and pipeline modernization.
• Support containerized deployments in cloud/hybrid environments.
• Develop automation scripts and deployment standards.
• Monitor tooling and ensure platform reliability and performance.
• Participate in Agile development and cross-functional collaboration.
• Promote secure coding practices and continuous improvement.
