Job summary

Vercel is hiring a DevRel Engineer to collaborate with product teams on agentic infrastructure: AI Gateway, Sandbox, and next-gen primitives. You will sit with product and engineering, build with these tools, and showcase what they enable.

If local, there are in-office anchor days in SF/NY/London/Berlin; otherwise remote work is possible. You will teach developers through demos, talks, and live coding; contribute to canonical examples; and participate in planning to fix rough edges before

Qualifications

5+ years in engineering, DevRel, or DX roles.
Built and shipped AI applications or agents; know tool calling and sandboxed code execution.
Strong TypeScript; familiar with Next.js and AI SDK ecosystem.
Have a public portfolio: talks, posts, open source, or videos.
Able to turn a half-finished API into a working demo quickly.
Influenced a product roadmap with developer feedback.

Responsibilities

Build agents and applications on AI Gateway and Sandbox before they ship; create demos and templates.
Teach developers to build with agentic infrastructure through writing, talks, and videos.
Join planning meetings with PMs/engineers to address rough edges before launch.
Own launch assets: repos, demos, docs, and first answers for developers.
Capture external feedback to inform product needs and ecosystem gaps.
