Job summary

Vercel is hiring a DevRel Engineer to work inside product teams building AI Gateway, Sandbox, and related primitives. You’ll sit with product and engineering, ship early demos, and show what the platform enables.

You will report to the Head of AI Infrastructure and may be located anywhere. If you’re near SF/NY/London/Berlin, in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Friday; otherwise, remote work is available.

Qualifications

5+ years in engineering, DevRel, or DX roles.
Built and shipped AI applications or agents.
Strong TypeScript skills; familiar with Next.js and AI SDK.
Public body of work (talks, posts, OSS, videos).
Able to turn a half-finished API into a working demo quickly.
Influenced a product roadmap with developer feedback.

Responsibilities

Build agents and apps on AI Gateway and Sandbox before they ship; create demos, templates, and open source projects developers clone.
Teach developers how to build with agentic infrastructure through writing, talks, videos, and live coding; set canonical examples.
Shape the products by sitting in planning meetings with PMs and engineers to address rough edges before launch.
Own launch assets: repos, launch demos, docs, and initial developer support.
Bring external input: track how developers build agents and what’s missing.
