Job summary

Firefly Aerospace is seeking a DevOps Engineer II to join our growing infrastructure team in Cedar Park, Texas. You will design, implement, and maintain scalable DevOps solutions that automate deployment pipelines, optimize infrastructure, and ensure reliability across our technology stack.

You will work closely with IT, software, and systems engineering teams to build robust CI/CD workflows using Terraform and Jenkins, manage Linux servers, and improve monitoring and security practices.

Qualifications

• Experience administering Linux systems (RHEL/Ubuntu/CentOS) and scripting.
• Terraform IaC to provision cloud and on‑prem resources.
• Hands-on Jenkins for pipeline automation.
• Git workflows including branching and merge resolution.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Fundamental networking knowledge (DNS, TLS, load balancing).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Terraform-based infrastructure to support cloud and on‑prem resources.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Create automation scripts to reduce manual tasks and improve efficiency.
• Ensure security best practices and reliable monitoring across systems.
• Collaborate with IT, software, and systems engineering teams.
