Firefly Aerospace seeks a DevOps Engineer II to join our growing infrastructure team in Texas. You will design, implement, and maintain robust DevOps solutions that automate deployment, optimize infrastructure, and ensure reliability across our technology stack.

Qualifications

• Must have strong Linux system administration experience (RHEL/Ubuntu/CentOS).
• Hands-on with Terraform and infrastructure as code practices.
• Experience designing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and pipelines as code.
• Proficient Git usage including branching and merge conflict resolution.
• Proficient scripting in Bash or Python for automation and tooling.
• Solid networking knowledge including DNS, TLS, routing, and load balancing.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement infrastructure as code solutions using Terraform.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins to automate build, test, and deploy.
• Create automation scripts to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual work.
• Design scalable, resilient infra for aerospace applications.
• Implement monitoring and observability to ensure system health and performance.
• Troubleshoot complex infra issues across Linux systems and deployments.
• Provide technical support to dev teams for builds and deployments.
• Perform root cause analysis on failures and implement preventive measures.
• Participate in on-call rotations to respond to incidents promptly.
