Job summary

SHI International is seeking a DevOps Engineer in Austin, TX. You will design and manage CI/CD pipelines, implement Terraform IaC, and integrate AWS/Azure services within existing infrastructure.

The role emphasizes compliance, security, and collaboration with development teams to deliver reliable features. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of cloud and DevOps experience, knowledge of networking and security basics, and proficiency with Git/Azure DevOps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 1–3 years of cloud computing experience.
• 1–3 years in a similar DevOps role.
• AWS or Azure experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of networks, security concepts, and VPNs.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methods.
• Proficiency with Git and Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and maintain IaC using Terraform.
• Monitor system performance and manage source code.
• Ensure systems are compliant and secure against threats.
• Integrate AWS and Azure services into existing infrastructure.
• Collaborate with development teams to deploy features.
• Perform root cause analysis for production issues.
• Develop on-premises tooling as needed.
