Job summary

Motion Recruitment Partners is seeking a DevOps Engineer to scale and secure infrastructure in a hybrid Chicago office environment. The role emphasizes AWS-focused cloud operations, reliability engineering, and hands-on development of scalable systems.

You’ll design and implement CI/CD pipelines, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to disaster recovery planning while improving software delivery performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a cloud infrastructure management role
• Strong understanding of IT operations, platform technologies, and site reliability best practices
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud-native technologies

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and support infrastructure solutions across AWS, data centers, co-location facilities, and network environments
• Enhance the reliability, scalability, and performance of software delivery pipelines and disaster recovery capabilities
• Partner with development and operations teams to support system migrations, monitor critical services, and maintain operational stability
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity strategies to ensure resilience and minimize service disruption
• Promote engineering excellence by sharing knowledge, mentoring peers, and driving continuous improvement initiatives
• Build, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient and reliable software delivery
