Motion Recruitment is seeking a DevOps Engineer for a fast-growing financial SaaS leader in Chicago. This hybrid, full-time role focuses on enhancing and scaling the AWS-based infrastructure, reliability capabilities, and secure, resilient systems.

You will design, deploy, and support infrastructure across AWS and data center environments, improve CI/CD pipelines, participate in disaster recovery strategies, mentor peers, and collaborate with cross-region teams to ensure high availability and

Qualifications

• 5 years of cloud infrastructure management experience.
• Strong understanding of IT operations, platform technologies, and site reliability best practices.
• Hands-on AWS with containerized and serverless services.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and support infrastructure solutions across AWS, data centers, co-location facilities, and network environments.
• Enhance the reliability, scalability, and performance of software delivery pipelines and disaster recovery capabilities.
• Partner with development and operations teams to support system migrations, monitor critical services, and maintain operational stability.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity strategies to ensure resilience and minimize service disruption.
• Promote engineering excellence by sharing knowledge, mentoring peers, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient and reliable software delivery.
