Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a Device Test Technician in Roxboro, NC for a temp-to-hire role. Pay is $17 per hour, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

In this position you will receive, sort, scan, and document equipment and devices; inspect items for damage; and prepare parts for palletized storage. The role requires basic computer use and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Basic computer use experience.
• Ability to stand/walk for up to 8 hours a day at workstation.
• Safety Shoes/Steel-toed shoes required; PPE provided by company.
• Ability to lift 20-30 lbs regularly, up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Bilingual is a plus.
• Manufacturing experience in telephone industry, warehouse environment or industrial setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and sort equipment and devices.
• Scan internal tracking label to determine materials origin.
• Scan part numbers, check codes to determine disposition.
• Enter information into computer database.
• Inspect material for visual damage and route appropriately.
• Create and label part.
• Place material on pallets, assign bin location.

• Scan internal tracking label to gather materials origin.
• Scan part numbers, check codes to determine disposition.
• Enter the appropriate info computer database.
• Inspect material for visual damage and route appropriately
• Create and label part
• Place material on pallets, assigned bin location

Job Requirements:

• Basic computer use experience
• Ability to stand/walk for up to 8 hours a day at workstation.
• Safety Shoe or Steel toed shoes required- all other PPE will be provided by company
• Ability to lift 20-30 lbs regularly, occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Work directly under supervision, or unsupervised to take apart telecommunication systems with hand tools or air tools.
• Reliable and consistent.
• Bilingual is a plus!
• Manufacturing experience in telephone industry, warehouse environment, industrial experience preferred.
