Job summary

Sechan Electronics, Inc. seeks a Test Technician to perform automated and bench testing per acceptance procedures, verifying product performance, compliance, and safety. You will troubleshoot to determine failure causes and prepare non-compliance reports under supervision.

Responsibilities include recording test data, using standard equipment, and maintaining logs. A production environment with up to 9 hours daily and physical lifting up to 50 lbs is expected, with a 9/80 work schedule.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Electronics preferred or equivalent military training.
• Ability to read and work from technical documents, schematics, drawings, and datasheets.
• Knowledgeable in electronics and computer equipment, testing, and processing.
• Be able to obtain a security clearance.

The Test Technician will perform automated and bench testing by following acceptance test procedures to verify product performance, compliance, and safety. When a product does not meet specifications, the test technician will perform basic troubleshooting to determine the cause of failure and create non-compliance reports.

Position Responsibilities:

• Test various products using standard test equipment.

Work Environment:

• Production Environment: Requires physical capability to work in a production environment up to 9 hours a day including; sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities including; close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
