Batteries Plus Timonium, MD is seeking a Repair Technician (Device Repair & Installation). This hands-on role involves repairing devices like phones and tablets, performing automotive key programming, and conducting battery testing, all while providing clear customer communication.

The position offers full-time hours, daytime shifts, paid training, and opportunities to grow into more advanced technical roles as skills develop; a strong mechanical or electronics aptitude helps success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license.
• Weekday and weekend availability.
• Demonstrated hands-on mechanical or technical aptitude through work experience, training, education, or personal experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work with small components.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured repair procedures.

Responsibilities

• Device Repair: Repair phones, tablets, and small electronics using structured repair procedures and quality standards.
• Automotive Services: Cut and program automotive keys and complete battery testing and installation services.
• Diagnostics & Quality: Troubleshoot issues, follow repair guides, document completed work, and focus on getting the job right the first time.
• Customer Support: Communicate professionally with customers about service options, repair expectations, and completed work.
• Technical Operations: Maintain an organized work area, care for tools and repair inventory, and follow safety and service procedures.
