Job summary

Batteries Plus is seeking a part-time technician to join our team in Carlisle, PA. You will perform mobile device and automotive battery repairs, assist customers, and support sales and daily operations with a focus on safety and quality.

No prior repair experience is required—we provide comprehensive training, including WISE Level 1/2 certifications and key fob programming. Growth opportunities exist within a supportive, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years of age with a valid driver’s license.
• Strong mechanical/technical aptitude.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable using tools and working with small parts and diagnostic equipment.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time.
• Available for a consistent part-time schedule, including weekdays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform mobile device and tablet repairs such as screens, batteries, and ports.
• Complete automotive key fob programming and cutting.
• Install automotive, commercial, and specialty batteries; run diagnostics, testing, and repair documentation according to company standards.
• Assist customers with repair recommendations, timelines, and warranty information.
• Help with retail sales when needed and support smooth customer flow.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe service bench.
• Assist with inventory stocking and daily operational tasks.
• Participate in ongoing training to earn and maintain WISE Level 1 and 2 certifications as well as key fob cutting/programming.
