Job summary

This role involves completing required documentation, assisting with capital expenditure planning, and performing preventive maintenance and repairs under supervision. The hourly wage range for this position is $26.00 - $51.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications

Outlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position. If none are listed, there are no minimum qualifications.

• Hold and maintain Universal or Type I and Type II Environmental Protection Agency certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
• Option 1: 1 year’s experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
• Option 2: 2 years’ Walmart store experience.
• EPA 608 Certification within 90 days of hire.
• Commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI within the last five (5) years. Commercial driving record with no more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years. No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related area for commercial HVAC/R and building controls.

• Prior work experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
