Job summary

Monarch Healthcare is seeking a Developmental Specialist to help individuals with mental health challenges or developmental needs achieve personal goals. You will assess needs, build relationships, and support participation in community activities.

Responsibilities include documenting progress, coordinating transportation, and ensuring safety and adherence to policies. The role requires a high school diploma and requires potential sleepover in a residential setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Experience working with people with mental health diagnoses or developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Candidate should be able to provide support and advocacy as part of daily duties.

Responsibilities

• Assess individuals to identify hopes, dreams, and goals.
• Support community relationships and natural supports.
• Assist with community participation and daily living activities.
• Document progress notes, actions, and outcomes in required records.
• Provide transportation and scheduling support as needed.
• Ensure safety and emergency procedures are understood and applied.
