Job summary

Maniilaq Association seeks a Program Manager for Developmental Disabilities to lead care coordination for Medicaid Waiver services in the Northwest Arctic Borough. You will supervise an Assistant DD Case Manager and ensure an integrated continuum of care for recipients and families, reporting to the Senior and Disabilities Services Director.

You will coordinate with multiple agencies, maintain compliance with state regulations, and support community education and outreach efforts.

Qualifications

• 2 yrs post-secondary education in human services or 5 years’ experience with developmental disabilities.
• Minimum of 2 yrs supervisory experience.
• Certification as Care Coordinator for IDD/APDD/CCMC Medicaid Waiver Services Program.
• CPR/First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee care coordination for Medicaid Waiver recipients in the region.
• Ensure Plan of Care creation, currency, and implementation.
• Ensure compliance with Alaska State Senior and Disabilities and Medicaid Waiver requirements.
• Supervise the Assistant DD Case Manager and conduct staff meetings.
• Coordinate with providers to share necessary documentation and approvals.
• Assist clients and families with Medicaid, SSI and public assistance applications.
