Job summary

Assurance Care & Support Services Inc. seeks an experienced Program Director to oversee Maryland DDA services, ensuring regulatory compliance, person-centered planning, and high-quality care. Strong leadership will guide staff, audits, and strategic growth across programs.

Lead responsibilities include coordination with DDA, CCS, and external partners, plus budgeting, data accuracy, and continuous improvement to enhance quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience in DDA or related services.
• Strong knowledge of Maryland DDA regulations and COMAR.
• Experience in budgeting, audits, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for all DDA programs and services in accordance with Maryland DDA regulations and COMAR guidelines.
• Ensure person-centered planning and delivery of services that promote independence, community integration, and quality of life.
• Supervise and support program staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and professional development.
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local licensing requirements and DDA standards.
• Develop, implement, and monitor policies and procedures that support effective program operations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the Maryland DDA, Coordinators of Community Services (CCS), and other external stakeholders.
• Oversee budget planning, billing practices (including LTSS and PCIS2 systems), and resource allocation to ensure financial health of programs.
• Conduct internal audits, monitor service documentation, and ensure accurate reporting and data entry.
• Address participant and family concerns, ensuring high standards of customer service and advocacy.
• Lead strategic planning efforts and contribute to agency growth and development.
