Walmart in Oxnard, CA is seeking a store management professional to supervise hourly Associates, hire, train, mentor, assign duties, evaluate performance and promote a sense of belonging among the workforce.

You will manage budgets for sales expenses and wages, drive sales through effective merchandising, pricing, and inventory control, and ensure safety and policy compliance while coordinating opening/closing procedures for a seamless transition.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of college; OR 1 year retail experience with 6 months' supervisory experience; OR 2 years general work experience and 1 year's supervisory experience; OR 1 year's SAM'S Club experience; OR 3 years military experience.
• Preferred Qualifications include Environmental Compliance or related field, retail profit and loss statement management experience, Supervisory experience, Warehouse experience with cold chain compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise hourly Associates, hire training, mentor, assign duties, and evaluate performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Manage budgets for sales expenses and wages in assigned area.
• Ensure merchandise presentation, pricing, inventory, and member experience.
• Collaborate with opening/closing managers to ensure smooth day-to-night transitions.
