Breakthrough Cincinnati is seeking a Development Specialist VISTA to lead fundraising capacity building with donors, foundations, and corporate sponsors. You will manage donor stewardship, plan appeals, and produce newsletters while working closely with students, families, and staff.

The role focuses on growing Breakthrough Cincinnati’s fundraising program and is positioned within the AmeriCorps VISTA framework for community impact.

Qualifications

• Experience in fundraising or grant writing preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to organize and manage donor data and newsletters.

Responsibilities

• Lead fundraising capacity building with individuals, foundations, and sponsors.
• Plan and execute fundraising appeals and sponsorship programs.
• Coordinate donor stewardship, data administration, and newsletter creation.
