Job summary
Carroll County Government in Westminster, MD is seeking a Development Review Coordinator II to coordinate the development review process and manage land development proposals. You will present complex project information to a variety of settings and conduct field inspections with comprehensive reporting.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field and four or more years of experience; a comparable combination may be substituted.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
- Four or more years of related experience.
- A comparable amount of education and experience may be substituted for the minimum requirement.
Responsibilities
- Review complex major and minor subdivisions and site plans against regulations. Communicate design issues to developers, engineers, attorneys, and citizen advocates.
- Provide complex technical project review for assigned projects. Facilitate interagency review and citizen issues.
- Present development projects to the Planning & Zoning Commission and discuss interagency issues and citizen concerns.
- Present complex project reviews and staff findings at Technical Review Committee meetings.
