Job summary

Life’sWork of Western PA is seeking a Development & Outreach Manager to lead fundraising, outreach, and community engagement across Pittsburgh and Monessen. You will collaborate with the Board and Executive Director to cultivate donors and partners, manage communications, and supervise grant-writing support.

Strong CRM and event planning are essential to boost the organization’s profile. You will oversee branding, staff engagement, and data-driven improvements while upholding HIPAA-compliant

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2–4 years of related experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Office Suite.
• Experience with CRM systems is preferred.
• Experience with Canva is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and cultivate potential donors, sponsors, and partners.
• Collaborate on internal/external communications with leadership.
• Support staff engagement and appreciation initiatives.
• Develop short- and long-term philanthropic plans.
• Research funding sources and provide guidance to stay ahead.
• Supervise contract providers and assist with grant writing.
• Design outreach programs to raise organizational profile.
• Coordinate events, meetings, and presentations.
• Maintain CRM and reconcile donations; data-driven improvements.
• Manage in-kind donations and partnerships; track acknowledgments.
