Job summary

YWCA Greater Pittsburgh is seeking a Development Manager to drive individual giving, donor stewardship, and fundraising campaigns. You will cultivate relationships, plan events, and collaborate with the Development Team to meet annual revenue goals.

Strong detail-oriented and strategic thinking are required to advance the organization’s mission. The role reports to the VP of Development and requires evening/weekend availability as needed, with a focus on donor engagement and program impact

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
3–5 years of fundraising, donor relations, or nonprofit development experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Canva or similar design tools a plus; willingness to work evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute individual giving strategies and donor stewardship programs.
Cultivate donor relationships and manage communications to enhance engagement.
Plan multichannel annual fundraising campaigns (direct mail, email, social, events).
Solicit donors and oversee recognition, impact reports, and relationship-building.
Support proposal writing, narratives, and reporting; assist with event logistics.
Help develop marketing materials and donor communications to communicate impact.
