Job summary

Tilting Futures is seeking a Development Manager to lead communications and development operations. You will draft grant proposals, maintain donor relations, and manage project workflows to support senior leadership in strategy and external engagement.

You will collaborate with the Director of Development Operations, Chief External Affairs Officer, and CEO to ensure smooth operations, accurate donor data, and timely reporting, enabling leadership to focus on mission impact.

Qualifications

3+ years of nonprofit development, operations, grant writing, or related experience.
Familiarity with nonprofit development pipeline management and donor moves management.
Strong writing skills with ability to communicate clearly and compellingly across formats (emails, proposals, reports).
Experience drafting grant proposals or major donor communications.

Responsibilities

Draft compelling grant proposals and donor communications.
Manage grant operations, timelines, reporting requirements, and submission deadlines.
Oversee moves management logistics and donor cultivation tracking using Asana and other tools.
Lead Salesforce maintenance, engagement tracking, and reports/dashboards for KPI monitoring.
Coordinate development committee meetings and strategic events.
