Job summary

C-SPAN is seeking a Development Operations Manager to own the systems, data, and processes that support its philanthropic work. The role oversees Salesforce, HubSpot, Donorbox, and related workflows, ensuring accurate donor records, timely acknowledgments, and effective prospect tracking.

The successful candidate will build structured operations, manage both detailed administrative tasks and larger initiatives, and partner with Finance, Digital, and Communications to strengthen the fundraising

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in development operations or fundraising administration.
• Strong experience with nonprofit CRM systems, especially Salesforce.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; precise donor stewardship.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and complex projects.
• Experience in startups or fast-paced teams is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary administrator and internal expert for the Development team’s use of fundraising platforms.
• Establish standards for donor data entry and maintenance; resolve duplicates and gaps.
• Ensure gifts, communications, and follow-up activities are accurately recorded in Salesforce.
• Build dashboards and reports to monitor fundraising performance and activity.
• Coordinate grant tracking, reporting, and donor acknowledgments.
• Support donor communications by preparing lists and distribution plans.
