Job summary

Prisma Health Corporate Office seeks a senior Foundation fundraising professional to plan, execute, and evaluate annual initiatives that grow philanthropic revenue and donor engagement. Initiatives include events, giving campaigns, and donor programs to support Prisma Health priorities.

The role leads the patient and family giving program, builds relationships with donors and partner foundations, and manages data and reports to guide decision making across the organization.

Job Summary

Plan, execute, and evaluate annual fundraising initiatives designed to grow philanthropic revenue and the donor base and increase opportunities for engagement with the Foundation. Initiatives may include: fundraising events, annual giving campaigns, patient and family giving, giving societies, team member giving, and/or other programs designed to grow philanthropic support for Prisma Health priorities, increase donor engagement, and strengthen community partnerships. Serve as a Foundation advocate and champion, internally and externally.

This position will serve as the primary operational lead for Prisma Health’s patient and family giving program, supporting multiple Prisma Health affiliated foundations through the Prisma Health Corporate Philanthropy Office. The ability to manage large volumes of data and strategic relationships with vendor-partners, clinical and administrative departments, and foundation leaders and team members is essential.

Essential Functions

• Plan, execute, and evaluate annual fundraising initiatives designed to grow philanthropic revenue and the donor base and increase opportunities for engagement with the Foundation. Initiatives may include: fundraising events, annual giving campaigns, patient and family giving, giving societies, team member giving, and/or other programs.
• Recruit, manage, and steward volunteers needed to execute annual fundraising initiatives. Develop volunteer job descriptions and/or committee descriptions and manage associated volunteer training, meetings, and communications. Work with Foundation leadership to engage board members in annual fundraising initiatives.
• Collaborate with Foundation leadership to develop and manage program goals and budgets, tracking effectiveness and ROI. Prepare progress reports, analyze data and provide insights to guide decision making.
• Collaborate with Foundation colleagues and Prisma Health Marketing & Communications to develop and create fundraising materials in accordance with brand standards.
• Identify, cultivate, and steward relationships with individual, corporate, and community donors to meet annual goals.
• Solicit sponsorships, gifts, and grants in support of assigned fundraising initiatives.
• Develop sponsorship packets and benefits, as well as solicitation proposals, presentations, and collateral materials to facilitate giving.
• Build strong partnerships with Prisma Health clinicians, leaders, and team members and engage them in fundraising initiatives as donors, volunteers, and/or content experts.
• Record and document prospect and donor information in philanthropy database following Foundation policies and procedures.
• Represent the Foundation team at Foundation events and support all aspects of the Foundation's work.
• Serve as a Foundation advocate and champion, internally and externally.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.

Minimum Requirements

• Education - Bachelor's degree in related field of study
• Experience - Five (5) years of experience in fundraising/constituent relations; marketing/communications; non-profit management; sales; healthcare administration; or a related field.
