Job summary

Prairie View A&M University is seeking a Development Officer I to help advance KPVU Radio's financial sustainability. You will cultivate underwriting, sponsorships, grants, and philanthropic support, expanding the station's impact across the university and community.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategies to identify underwriting, sponsorship, grants, and philanthropic gifts.
Cultivate strategic partnerships and sponsorship opportunities to support KPVU's programming and community engagement.
Collaborate with university partners to expand fundraising efforts and institutional support.
Build and manage underwriting pipelines for on-air and digital platforms.
Pursue grants and major gifts to enhance KPVU's role in the university's public media initiatives.
Assist in planning fundraising campaigns, donor cultivation, and community outreach.
Track fundraising performance and provide monthly reports to leadership.
