Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Ten years of progressively responsible fundraising or related experience.
• Proven experience managing donor, funder, or external partner relationships.
• Experience developing proposals, funding requests, or strategic partnership documents.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate and foundation prospects and donors as primary relationship manager.
• Develop and implement strategies for identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
• Collaborate with colleges and units to identify fundable priorities and prepare compelling cases for support.
• Write and coordinate proposals, concept papers, grant requests, sponsorship packages, and briefing materials.
• Maintain a strategic moves management plan for assigned prospects and donors.
• Seek new corporate and foundation funding opportunities aligned with university priorities.
• Support senior leadership for cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship activities.
• Coordinate donor engagement strategies, campus visits, events, and communications.
• Track donor interactions and stewardship actions using advancement databases.
• Represent the Division of University Advancement in meetings with external partners.
