Job summary

Related Group seeks a Development Manager to oversee due diligence, entitlements, and design/construction for new builds and acquisitions. You will coordinate with acquisition staff, principals, and consultants, guiding projects from planning through construction handoff.

You’ll manage timelines, budgets, and interactions with municipal authorities, transportation and environmental agencies, ensuring alignment with the business plan and profitability goals.

Qualifications

• Experience with site development issues in multifamily condo projects.
• 3+ years in engineering, planning, or development budgets and entitlements.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of construction standards and practices.
• Experience in multifamily or condominium development.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-development activities: market/site id, deal structure, and underwriting.
• Oversee design, zoning, and entitlement processes with partners and authorities.
• Coordinate financing packages including budgets, bids, and RFPs.
• Manage permits, approvals, and coordination among consultants and staff.
• Drive marketing coordination and leasing collateral with other departments.
