Job summary

Every Meal in Minnesota is seeking a Development Manager to lead a data-driven fundraising strategy and supervise Development Officers. The role focuses on expanding donor relationships across community, foundation, sponsorship, and corporate channels to support the organization's mission.

The position involves managing a diverse portfolio of sponsors and funders, representing Every Meal in community settings, and collaborating with the Development Team to meet annual fundraising goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional fundraising experience.
• Experience in community, foundation/grants, and corporate relations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Experience supervising staff.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an annual fundraising plan for community, foundation/grants, sponsorship, and corporate giving.
• Lead, manage, and develop Development Officers with clear expectations and accountability.
• Manage portfolio of sponsors, funders, and corporate partners; drive cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
• Build and maintain a strong prospect pipeline to increase revenue and partnerships.
• Lead foundation and grant fundraising, including research, proposals, calendars, and reporting.
• Represent Every Meal in the community through presentations and events.
