Job summary

Minnesota Independence College and Community seeks a Development Manager to lead MICC's annual fundraising program, shaping strategies for annual giving, donor engagement, and sponsorships. You will coordinate with the CAO, supervise the Development Database Coordinator, and partner across Advancement to grow contributed revenue.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in management, marketing, business, or related field preferred.
• Five or more years of fundraising, development, sales, relationship management, or related experience.
• Experience with individual giving, donor stewardship, corporate and foundation giving, sponsorships, and fundraising campaigns.
• Experience managing fundraising projects, budgets, calendars, and deadlines.
• Experience with Raiser's Edge NXT or similar fundraising CRM strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead MICC's annual development plan with revenue goals, timelines, and metrics.
• Manage a comprehensive fundraising program including annual giving, donor engagement, and sponsorships.
• Develop strategies to increase donor acquisition, retention, and upgrades.
• Oversee grant calendar, proposals, reports, and fundraising communications.
• Supervise the Development Database Coordinator and ensure accurate donor records and reporting.
• Collaborate with CAO and other leaders to align campaigns and events with priorities.
