Job summary

CareerSource Central Florida seeks a Development Manager to oversee fundraising operations, donor relations, and development communications. You will lead grant research, stewardship, and annual giving campaigns while coordinating with Finance and BI to prepare compelling reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, communications, business, or related field.
• 3+ years of donor relations, fundraising, client/customer relations, or related fields.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent oral and written communication, including drafting content for various audiences.
• Experience handling confidential information with discretion.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM/donor database systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage internal processes and initiatives in the department and provide administrative support.
• Oversee donor relations, acknowledgments, and reporting; support financial coordination with Finance.
• Research and assist in grant opportunities; track and report to funders.
• Coordinate donor communications and impact reports, and steward key partners.
• Plan and execute development events; identify revenue diversification opportunities.
• Collaborate with BI, Finance, Workforce Ops, and Communications on reports.
