Job summary

Tilth Alliance in Seattle (hybrid) seeks a Development Associate for a full-time role supporting Marketing & Communications, Fundraising, Donor Relations, Events and Volunteers. You will help manage donor data, create content for outreach, and coordinate events with a focus on equity and community impact.

You will gain exposure across the organization, collaborating with staff, volunteers, and partners while developing skills in fundraising systems and donor stewardship.

• Strong administrative skills including recordkeeping and reporting.
• Ability to work in teams and provide high-quality service.

• Ability to work with diverse backgrounds and promote cooperation.
• Confidentiality and accuracy.
• Experience with Mailchimp and social media content.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Some Salesforce or other CRM experience desirable.
• Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud proficiency or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support Marketing & Communications, Fundraising, Donor Relations, Events and Volunteers.
• Assist in marketing content, video creation for social channels, and newsletters.
• Manage and maintain donor data and reporting in Salesforce.
• Support event planning for Edible Plant Sales, Farm Fest, Tilth Conference and other activities.
• Secure in-kind donations and assist with on-site event coordination.
• Maintain volunteer data and support group work parties.
