Urban Tilth is seeking a Capital Campaign Fund Development Associate to support fundraising for foundation and government grants, major donor communications, and donor events. You will help draft proposals, funder reports, and manage outreach and media engagement, working within a small team to raise funds for the organization’s capital campaigns.

The role involves updating donor databases, coordinating tours and webinars, and contributing to campaign milestones from $4M to $11M.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience in storytelling or fund development for community organizations.
• Ability to share compelling narratives about food, climate, racial and social justice.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Strong project management abilities and donor responsiveness.
• Experience with Raiser's Edge or Salesforce and email marketing tools.

Responsabilités

• Assist with foundation and government grant research, preparation, and submission.
• Draft and submit major donor proposals and funder reports.
• Update Capital Campaign boilerplate language as projects progress.
• Solicit and manage media engagement including press releases.
• Support donor relations and plan major donor events and funder tours.
• Collect data, stories, and images for funder reports with the team.
• Maintain capital campaign communications, newsletters, and social media updates.
• Update donor database with campaign-related information; travel as needed.
• Participate in program activities to deepen community knowledge.
• Attend funder retreats and staff meetings; contribute to strategic planning.
