Job summary

The National Constitution Center seeks a Development Assistant/Associate to support fundraising efforts and strengthen donor relationships. Responsibilities

• Conduct donor and prospect research to identify opportunities and develop cultivation strategies.
• Prepare donor background briefings and strategy memos for senior leadership.
• Manage donor acknowledgement process with weekly letters and personalized correspondence.
• Draft donor communications, including meeting requests and stewardship materials.
• Coordinate quarterly fundraising appeals by mail and email with internal teams and vendors.
• Maintain donor cultivation pipelines and track engagement for next steps.
• Support monthly external newsletter to supporters and donor engagement efforts.
• Plan and execute donor events, including invitations, RSVPs, and on-site support.
