Forever Balboa Park is seeking a highly organized Development Coordinator to join our Institutional Advancement team. This role coordinates projects, supports donor relationships and the Membership program, and keeps fundraising initiatives moving forward.

Working with the Director of Institutional Advancement and the team, you will gain experience across annual giving, donor stewardship, grants administration, events, and gift processing, building a foundation for a career in nonprofit

Qualifications

• Organizational, project management, and time management skills required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with collaboration and discretion in donor relations.
• Proficiency with Google Suite; ability to learn new platforms.

Responsibilities

• Philanthropy Operations & Project Coordination: coordinate projects, maintain calendars, plan meetings, prepare materials, manage vendors and processes.
• Donor Engagement & Events: organize donor cultivation/events, manage invites/RSVPs, support donor communications and reporting.
