Job summary

Encompass Early Education & Care is seeking a Development Manager to lead fundraising, donor stewardship, and community engagement initiatives that strengthen philanthropic support. You will work closely with the Director of Community Impact to build donor pipelines and manage engagement programs and events.

The role requires 3–5 years in fundraising or donor relations and a track record of campaigns, stewardship, and sponsorships within a nonprofit setting.

Qualifications

• Strong relationship-building and donor stewardship skills.
• Ability to analyze fundraising data and monitor performance metrics.
• Experience coordinating multiple campaigns and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Implement fundraising strategies and annual development plans that support organizational goals.
• Build and maintain relationships with individual donors, sponsors, corporate partners, and community supporters.
• Manage annual giving campaigns, fundraising appeals, donor engagement initiatives, and a portfolio of donors.
• Identify and develop prospective donors to strengthen the future gift pipeline.
• Lead corporate engagement, sponsorships, and employee engagement opportunities.
• Develop donor stewardship, recognition, and engagement strategies to promote long-term support.
• Plan, promote, and execute key fundraising events such as the Annual Celebration and President's Luncheon.
• Support grant-seeking efforts through research and proposal development.
• Collaborate with leadership to share stories showing donor impact and advance fundraising objectives.
• Maintain donor data and reporting to support engagement activities.
