Job summary

The Summit Center in Amherst, NY seeks a Development Manager to lead strategic fundraising, major gifts, and donor engagement. You will oversee grants, corporate partnerships, and advancement operations, partnering with leadership to secure data-driven funding for mission programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; CFRE or advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive nonprofit fundraising experience.
• Experience with major gifts, foundations, and corporate sponsorships.

Responsibilities

• Lead major gifts, foundation relations, and donor stewardship.
• Oversee capital and endowment fundraising initiatives with leadership.
• Partner with Marketing/Communications to tell impact stories.
• Supervise development staff and manage performance metrics.
