Job summary

VOA Eastern Washington is seeking a strategic Director of Development to lead fundraising and philanthropic growth. You will cultivate relationships with major donors, foundations, and corporate partners, and drive growth across the organization.

The role partners with executives and the Board to advance initiatives and steward a culture of giving. The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, results-driven, and skilled at mobilizing resources to support mission-driven work across Eastern

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five or more years of progressive fundraising and relationship management experience.
• Experience cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding donors or strategic partners.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel throughout the service area.

Responsibilities

• Lead fundraising strategies from individuals, businesses, foundations, and partners.
• Build and grow relationships with major donors and supporters.
• Identify, solicit, and steward significant gifts.
• Expand corporate sponsorships and community partnerships.
• Partner with leadership and the Board to advance fundraising initiatives.
• Develop donor engagement and stewardship strategies.
• Oversee fundraising operations, data management, reporting, and metrics.
• Represent VOA Eastern Washington in the community.
